Week 9 – Ashcroft (1st Ed.): Aboriginal Place; Hodge and Mishra

The Aboriginal peoples of what is now Australia express much through art, and Hodge and Mishra translate the change with which has occurred in geography for the Aboriginal peoples.  The change of important places in life has been disrupted by the empire, where Euro-white government and power have oppressed the patterns and geographic home of the indigenous.  Now the indigenous travel to the new geographic centers for their substance, changing the culture of said peoples.  Will Euro-centric folk ever come to a place where we recognize a people as different, without the fallacy of Darwinian evolution as a definition of humanity effecting our social understandings towards cultural Darwinism?
